Our Pet and Owner Chauffeur Services Between Paris & London

dog-windowOur Pet Move Service

At Pet Moves we offer a very flexible pet and owner travel together service, that’s just as unique as your cat or dog. You can choose to travel with your pets, or let us transport them for you; we can meet and drop off at your residence, airports, stations and we can even carry other family members, luggage and personal possessions.

If you are contemplating travelling from afar, it can dramatically reduce your costs if you travel by train/air to or from any of the suggested meeting/departure points, mentioned below:

  • London mainline Rail Stations or Airports
  • Paris mainline Railway Stations or Airports
  • Folkestone Central or West Railway Station (instead of London, can reduce the cost)

Our customers choose Pet Moves because each Pet Move is exclusive to each owner and their pets, which allows us to give them individual attention. We allow time for exercise and comfort breaks where appropriate and, if you’re not accompanying your pet, we’ll keep you updated.

If you have questions about any of the options below, or further requirements please do get in touch and we’ll be delighted to hear from you.  Please note that we require information about your journey to provide a quotation, you can submit this information here.

Please note that all our vehicles and staff are non-smoking.

  • Dedicated Pet Moves

Our dedicated Pet Move service ensures that the same person cares for you and your cat or dog throughout the journey. The Pet Moves team is made up of experienced pet handlers.
  • A Door to Door Pet Chauffeur service

Our door to door pet chauffeur service means we’ll transport your pet directly to your chosen destination on the date you require. The vehicles we use are all air-conditioned people carriers, which have tinted windows for your pet’s privacy and protection from the sun. This service is primarily offered between Paris Charles de Gaulle and London and the South East of England.
  • Travelling With Your Pet on the Journey

With Pet Moves it’s entirely up to you whether you’d like to travel with your pet or not. Either way they will be very well taken care of. Please ensure that you pre-book the number of passengers and luggage so that we can ensure there's room for everyone.
  • Keeping You Informed

We take every care to ensure your pet is safe and comfortable throughout their move and we appreciate that owners like to know how their cat or dog is doing. That’s why we’re more than happy to send you updates. This can be done via text message or email and will usually be sent at the border crossing. As well as reassuring you, this will allow us to give you an estimated time of your pet’s arrival.
  • France To UK Cross-Channel Pet Transport via Eurotunnel

We offer cat and dog transport using Eurotunnel (Channel Tunnel) whenever we cross between France and the UK. We prefer to travel via Eurotunnel because ferry companies require that animals are left unattended on the car deck for the duration of the crossing. Being left alone like this has the potential to be quite a stressful situation for any animal, especially if neighbouring vehicles' car alarms are triggered by the movement of the ferry. Crossing the channel via Eurotunnel is faster and more comfortable for your pet and we are able to attend to their needs for the duration of the journey.
  • Flying With Pets To The UK

Some airlines permit small pets to accompany passengers in the cabin, however this is not allowed when flying directly into the UK. As a result many people travelling with pets fly into Paris and choose Pet Moves to cross The Channel to the UK and back again for their return journey. Read our customer story about flying to the UK with Pets to find out why. We can collect you and your pet Paris Charles de Gaulle airport or station and transport you to your destination together with any luggage. Remember, to enter the UK your pet will need an EU PETS passport or Third Country Certificate. If your pet doesn’t hold either of these please consult the DEFRA website for more information.
